What we do
Our services

Scotia Chiropractic offers Chiropractic therapy, which is a scientifically valid and extremely safe method of primary health care for patients of all ages. It is regulated by the General Chiropractic Council and is recognised by the Royal College of General Practitioners as being highly effective in treating back pain.

Our Chiropodist at Scotia Chiropractic deals with the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of the lower limb and is qualified to treat people with arthritis, diabetes, nail surgery, callous, corns and sports injuries. They work with people of all ages but play a particularly important role in helping older people to stay mobile and, therefore, independent.

Scotia Chiropractic offers orthotic foot supports to help realign the joints in the foot and redistribute the forces that act on feet when they are in motion. Stabilising the foot joints can relive pain in the knee, hip, lower back and spine. By using specialist imaging equipment, a detailed and personal scan can be taken of your feet, to provide bespoke orthotics. These come in a range of styles to suit all activity levels.

Scotia Chiropractic offers Applied Kinesiology (AK), which is a diagnostic system using manual muscle testing to link the physics of body movement and muscle function to health and healthcare. Applied Kinesiology can only be performed by healthcare professionals.

At Scotia Chiropractic we offer Craniosacral therapy, which deals with imbalances of the joints of the head including the skull, face and mouth.

The name ‘Craniosacral’ comes from the associated bones – the cranium (skull, face and mouth) and the spinal column which extends down to the sacrum. As with the more familiar cardiovascular and respiratory systems, a problem with the craniosacral system may lead to dysfunction in areas such as sensory input, motor or intellect.

At Scotia Chiropratic we offer the Graston Technique® for soft tissue. Soft tissue injuries can be debilitating and frustrating. Graston Technique® (GT) is successful in effectively treating all soft tissue conditions, whether they are chronic, acute or post-surgical. GT can help you enjoy life again.
