Applied Kinesiology
Make a significant change to your life - Make a lasting change to your wellbeing
Applied Kinesiology borrows from many different disciplines and through the use of accurate, scientific muscle testing, in addition to the basic knowledge of the practitioner, it helps direct the care to exactly what the patient needs are.
A Doctor using Applied Kinesiology will add a new dimension to standard diagnostics. The muscle testing helps diagnose what is functioning abnormally and unduly stressing the system. This abnormality can be present in a host of conditions.
There are many ways at looking at health. In Applied Kinesiology we like to consider health as a Triad. The three legs of the triangle are structural, chemical and mental. If the sides are all equal then the person will have optimal health. A shortening or lengthening of any side will be less than optimum.
Applied Kinesiology is a diagnostic system using manual muscle testing to link the physics of body movement and muscle function to health and healthcare. Applied Kinesiology can only be performed by healthcare professionals.
Note that nowhere in this discussion is pain or lack of it part of health. Because it isn’t. Pain is a natural response to noxious stimuli. It is normal for someone to have pain after they hit their hand with a hammer, but they are no less healthy. Health is the optimal function, which should have minimal noxious stimuli.
A constant structural strain will affect your emotions. The emotions can then affect the digestive system that will affect the chemistry in terms of nutritional deficiencies.
Any treatment program may involve specific joint manipulation or mobilsation, various myofascial therapies, cranial techniques, meridian skills, clinical nutrition, dietary management, counseling skills, evaluation of environmental irritants and various reflex procedures.
